Embodiment | Nervous System Support | Trauma-Sensitive Yoga
Welcome. I’m Jennifer, a certified Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Teacher and the founder of Sacred Lilith Yoga. This practice was born from my own journey of reconnecting with my body after trauma—through breath, movement, stillness, and deep rest. Today, I offer that same space of healing and reconnection to others: a gentle, inclusive, and choice-centered approach to yoga that supports the nervous system and honors the whole self.
At Sacred Lilith Yoga, I work with individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels who are seeking a deeper relationship with their body, breath, and inner wisdom. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, or disconnection, this practice offers a safe, welcoming space to return to yourself—one breath at a time.
What I Offer
My trauma-sensitive yoga sessions are grounded in:
- Embodiment and nervous system support
- Gentle, choice-based movement
- Breathwork (pranayama) for self-regulation
- Yoga Nidra for deep meditative rest
- Guided meditation and self-inquiry
- Respect for the roots and philosophy of yoga
These practices are designed to support your healing journey with gentleness, flexibility, and autonomy. I believe that healing doesn’t happen by forcing or fixing—it happens by listening, honoring, and allowing.
My Training & Experience
My work as a yoga teacher is rooted in lived experience and professional training:
- 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training – Denver Yoga Underground (2022)
- 40-Hour Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Training – Buffalo + Sparrow Yoga Collective (2023)
- Additional studies in:
- Yoga Nidra
- The Koshas (the five layers of self in yogic philosophy)
- Yoga and Pregnancy (with Kari Kwinn at White Lotus)
In October 2025, I will begin a two-year Yoga Therapy Certification Program, deepening my ability to support individuals with specific physical, mental, and emotional health goals. This work blends ancient yoga wisdom with modern therapeutic tools, offering a truly integrative path to well-being.
My Approach
Whether we’re working together one-on-one or in a group setting, I teach with warmth, presence, and deep respect for your pace and process. My sessions invite you to listen inward, move intuitively, and discover what safety and connection feel like in your own body.
This isn’t yoga for performance. This is yoga for presence.
For regulation. For remembering. For returning to yourself.
The Heart of Sacred Lilith
The name Sacred Lilith Yoga honors the wild, intuitive feminine—the part of us that has often been silenced or shamed through trauma or social conditioning. Lilith, an ancient archetype of feminine sovereignty, inspires the reclamation of our voice, power, and presence. In this space, we make room for all parts of you—especially the ones that have been cast out.
This is a practice of coming home.
You are welcome here—exactly as you are.
